Gratitude
With praise and thanksgiving to God....
Gratitude
Willing hearts that can speak
Within our souls humility running deep
Praising God with prayers as we seek
Giving thanks even while we weep
Thankful for a sowed harvest now to reap
Joyful sounds from our spirits leap
Even when we hurt with wounds that seep
Moving towards God even though we creep
In quiet and stillness His voice we will hear
He will wipe away every single tear
We will never be afraid or have fear
No matter the outcome with God it cannot scare
To His heart we are held close and dear
He paid the price, He made it clear
The Kingdom is now, it is right here
It is gratitude to God that draws us near
Trusting God with our souls to keep
Not fearing the future in our sleep
Lessons we learn then must teach
Thankful hearts overflow to help the weak
Pride released to become humble and meek
Gratitude allows redemption to be reached
Glimmers and glimpses of Heaven can then leak
Grateful to God for the blessings given to each
