Waiting is a God Game
Every single day, I am thankful for my merciful, ever-patient God who continues to love me, never giving up on me, as He waits on me to get it right.
I am the impatient type who wants things to happen on my time. God has His own timing and plans for us. As I have grown older, one of the most important lessons God has taught me is patience. This really goes back to trusting God as my last poem, "Trust God Into the Abyss" addresses. Sometimes, we just have to wait and be still to hear God and His Plan for us. Waiting is a God Game.
Waiting is a God Game
Waiting is a God Game
Waiting leads me down the long lane
Waiting teaches me the virtue I need to know
Waiting can help me to let go
Waiting is so hard for me to do
Waiting enough will reveal the clue
Waiting I need to embrace
Waiting will lead me to God's Grace
Waiting lets God sow
Waiting allows the time to grow
Waiting is an art I must learn
Waiting is a gift to help discern
Waiting is putting my life on hold
Waiting is used by God to mold
Waiting will not leave me the same
Waiting on God helps me contain
Waiting keeps me from passing God
Waiting reveals God's Path to trod
Waiting is the patience to see God's Time
Waiting holds the tension that is mine
Waiting tells me to be silent and still
Waiting allows me to see God's Will
