Barren Peaks and Lush Valleys
On the barren peaks of mountains above the tree line, there is no growth, but in the lush fertile valleys there is abundant growth. Like the gardener who prunes his bushes, removing branches to get new healthy growth and to help the plant live to thrive and flourish, God uses our hurt and pain to make us stronger, growing us. So those painful cuts and deep valleys of life are what produce strength, growth, resilience, and fortitude. They develop us into who God created us to be. He does not waste even a single one of our tears. So, it is the pain and deep valleys of life that grow us, making us stronger. God can bring good from our worst suffering for those who love Him, for those who are His.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who
love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
