God Turns Darkness Into Light

It is in those "dark nights of the soul" that we grow the most, as God draws us near to Him. In the darkness at night when we sleep our body grows, heals, and repairs itself. Just as a seed needs darkness to grow and germinate, we need darkness.

We may feel abandoned and alone in the dark, but if we only blindly reach our hand out into the darkness with trust we will find God standing next to us with His outstretched hand, waiting to transform the darkness into light.

These are times that God can actually be closest to us, loving us, using the darkness to help us grow into a mature spiritual being.

He can transform our darkness into light.

"You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light."
